Peter
Morton managed to find beautiful weather for
his canoe camping trip on Ullswater in 2009. We are reliably informed that
it was not Peter's car being driven across the lake.
Despite the water level at Errwood dropping quite a lot during 2010 due to the lack of rain in June and July, it doesn't compare to the extremely dry conditions captured here by Geoff Shoults during the summer of 1995. You can even see the old bridge, clearly visible above the waterline.
